At Southport Athletic, we’re proud to support and grow the women’s and girls’ game — and we’re just getting started.

We currently have two fantastic Under 13s girls teams, filled with passionate players, dedicated coaches, and a love for the game that shines every time they step onto the pitch.

One of our teams recently made club and town history by becoming league champions — the first ever girls’ team from Southport to win a league title! It’s a huge achievement and a testament to the hard work, talent, and team spirit of everyone involved.

But we’re not stopping there.

We’re actively looking to expand into more age groups, so if your daughter is keen to get involved — whether she’s just starting out or already playing — we’d love to hear from you. Our aim is to create a clear pathway for girls of all ages to enjoy football in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

We’re also on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers and coaches. Whether you’re an experienced coach or someone looking to get started, we offer support, development opportunities, and a welcoming community to help you make a real difference in the girls’ game.
